In the beginning of The Incredibles, superheroes are celebrated by the city folk; they are celebrities, interviewed on television. Mr Incredible is able to prevent a number of crimes: rescuing a cat from a tree; preventing a heist; saving a man trying to commit suicide; capturing a thief; preventing a train crash; and a bank robbery - even on the way to his wedding to Elastigirl. Lucius (Frozone) and him go out for their Wednesday night bowling, however they are secretly getting involved in crime fighting. They do not realise that during this time, they are being watched. They save civilians from a fire, but accidently break through into an art gallery and appear to be robbers. Frozone freezes the policemen and they escape, but only just in time.

Bob’s boss reprimands him in his office, Bob wants to leave to save someone being mugged, however his boss prevents him. Bob gets mad, throws his boss through several walls and subsequently loses his job. He receives a self-destructible message calling him to work for an agency as Mr Incredible once...
